After many decades of operation, their founder was retiring. They decided it was an opportune time for a brand refresh and website update.
Their previous logo was illustrative and didn’t reflect the nature of their business. Cluttered and unfocused, we knew there was an opportunity to simplify. But also inject new energy with their shift of ownership.
The new mark is bold, memorable, and clean. As strong in black in white or grayscale as it is in the vibrant blue and green we selected. It’s appropriate for a mechanical engineering firm that specializes in clean energy. Clinical and vivid.
They have a technical business, and their previous website was thick with jargon. They needed an approachable website that sold their unique services. While also showcasing the depth of their technical aptitude.
The first thing we approached was defining a clear value proposition for the home page. DRIVING VALUE WITH CLEAN ENERGY distills down the essence of their business into a single sentence. We then go into a bit more detail, letting the site visitor know what they should expect.
The rest of the site is 19 pages, and each page flows to the next. We detail their many services offered. Showcase a handful of case studies for their more significant and more high profile projects. Display a full index of the hundreds of projects they’ve completed. We also introduce site visitors to the team behind all the fantastic work.
The site is expansive but never overwhelming. Bold minimalism delivers dense information in an approachable way.
